THE CHALLENGE

DXC’s Big Data Group had been working on a large number of new projects that required Python programming expertise, so DXC looked for learning solutions to both upskill their employees and create a pipeline to bid for future Python-based projects.

THE Solution

CodeX virtual coding practice labs offered the ideal solution for addressing DXC’s IT skill gaps for Python. CodeX is a safe, experiential environment for DXC’s IT professionals to both polish and test their Python knowledge as well as practice their coding skills without the added expense of dedicated test servers. Working with DXC, Logicearth first conducted a training needs assessment to establish a clear and comprehensive view of the necessary training. A Program Manager, in collaboration with managers from DXC, then designed, implemented, and measured the pilot program results.
