Axiom is an award-winning global scientific engagement agency that provides healthcare communications, medical training, and marketing solutions to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
THE Solution
We helped medical sales teams to walk in the shoes of HCPs through a VR experience.
We chose a ‘storytelling’ approach to get trainees to experience first-hand sensitive HCP–patient interactions. Set in the familiar environment of a doctor’s surgery, the training allows users to explore patient stories through medical records, patient memories and patient examination.
It combines an intuitive user interface and haptic technology to deepen the level of immersion with the content.

RESULTS

This was a step change in the client’s training delivery, leading to much increased appetite for this new approach. Engagement within the user community is increasing, and teams adopting the solution report that average user attainment rates are over 90%.
