Description
The CISSP was the first credential in the field of information security, accredited by the ANSI (American National Standards Institute) to ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Standard 17024:2003. CISSP certification is not only an objective measure of excellence, but a globally recognized standard of achievement.
Prerequisites
The CISSP® training program is targeted at professionals with at least five years experience, and direct full-time security professional work experience will be required in two or more of the ten CISSP® CBK domains. The endorsement policy also requires anyone who passes a CISSP®, CAP, or SSCP® exam to have their qualifications endorsed by another (ISC2) credential holder.
